For your convenience, there is a Big Blue Book Bin located at our administration office - 24 Bryant Street Tighes Hill NSW - see the map below.

Unfortunately we cannot accept donations of encyclopaedias, out-of-date reference books, weekly magazine titles and National Geographics.

Bookfest 2011

Last year's Lifeline Newcastle & Hunter Bookfest was held on the weekend of the 17th and 18th September 2011.

The 2011 Bookfest was huge success thanks to the tireless work of Wendy Paterson and her band of volunteers.

Lifeline Newcastle & Hunter would like to thank media supporters The Newcastle Star, logistics supporters Wine Selectors and the Newcastle Basketball Stadium staff.
Thank you also to radio 2NURFM and ABC1233 for your promotion of the event.

$20,000 worth of books were sold over the weekend.

All funds raised will directly support Lifeline Newcastle & Hunter's vital counselling services.
