At the beginning of your session, an accredited Lifeline counsellor will greet you in a respectful manner and encourage you to discuss your reasons for attending counselling.
You will be reassured that your discussion is confidential. The counsellor will focus on you and what is happening in your life, what it means to you and what you would like to change.
All of our counsellors are tertiary trained and accredited professionals. They are also graduates of Lifeline’s Personal Counselling Training Program and must meet Lifeline’s strict annual internal performance and development accreditation standards.
A fee applies to cover basic administration expenses and entitles you to six appointments. The payment can be made in several instalments if necessary. Please discuss with our receptionist when making your appointment.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know 24 hours before your appointment, otherwise it will be counted as one of your entitled sessions.
